New Alternatives for LGBT Homeless Youth
New Alternatives is dedicated to reducing homelessness among LGBTQ+ youth and young adults in New York City by addressing areas critical to their development and well-being: housing, physical and mental health, education, and employment.With a strong focus on harm reduction and long-term support, we offer a broad range of direct services and referrals to meet the needs of our clients and advocate on their behalf to ensure they survive and thrive.

The Night Ministry
Founded in 1976, The Night Ministry is a Chicago-based organization whose mission is to provide human connection, housing support, and health care to members of our community who are unhoused or experiencing poverty. With an open heart and an open mind, we accept people as they are and work to address their immediate physical, emotional and social needs while affirming their sense of humanity. We serve over 4,500 youth and adults every year through our mobile health outreach and youth housing programs.
The Trevor Project
The Trevor Project's mission is to end suicide among gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) young people.We are the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people. The organization works to save young lives by providing support through free and confidential suicide prevention and crisis intervention programs on platforms where young people spend their time: our 24/7 phone lifeline, chat, text. We also run TrevorSpace, the world’s largest safe space social networking site for LGBTQ youth, and operate innovative education, research, and advocacy programs.
